Rosh Hashanah Stainless Steel Cookie Cutters

Bake delicious cookies in the shapes of these Jewish New Year icons! Featuring 3 stainless steel cutters (1 Shofar, 1 Prayer Book & 1 Apple) that are easy to use and clean, tasty cookies are a great way to have a very sweet year!

 Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 1/2 sticks margarine
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 4 c. flour 

Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream margarine with sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, baking powder, and flour until a soft dough is formed. Cover dough with plastic and refrigerate for an hour or overnight. On lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/8” thickness. Cut dough into desired shapes. Re-roll the scraps and continue cutting until all dough is used.Place cookies on greased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.

*Optional: Add colored sugar crystals or chocolate chips to cookies before baking. Yields: 50 Cookies
